There's a difference between "less expensive" and "cheaply made". When it comes to tires, 1/3rd of the cost of a "name brand" tires is for marketing /advertising. Many "name brand" tires from companies based in other countries are manufactured in China. It's possible to get tires or any other auto part made in China that is as good as one made in the US or EU . These include many "OEM" parts. Depending on local tariffs, these can be significantly less expensive. Because of this its dangerous to automatically think of any auto part as "premium" or not based on its price. It's better to look at the company's reputation for standing behind their product's performance and warranty.

Yeh you will need to replace them when they are only half worn. How much do you value your life on a wet road or the life of the other road users driving towards you?

I gave my Alfa 1.6 147 a second chance. Previous owner wanted to drive till it stopped working. But she just didn't planned to go down that easily so he just sold her. After that i bought her and after some part replacements and other maintenance i have a nice beefy beauty in return. I hope driving it for many more years.

Just stumbled across your channel and appreciate you sharing your knowledge! Recently bought my first Alfa (2012 Giulietta QV) and I am in love! It has a little bit of wear and tear but it's to be expected, given its age. I am attempting to replace and upgrade a few things here and there (front scudetto, scratched steering wheel cover, qv side badges etc.) as well as repairing the alloys just so that I can maximise its resell value. Plan is to eventually buy a post-facelift qv/veloce with lower mileage and all available extras and treat it as a hobby to gradually upgrade/mod/tune it so it becomes a real head turner.

Done today. Took apart as you illustrate, but suspected it might have come out without undoing the top two rod links. I reassembled these with the handle out, and yes, it will go back in with the rods already attached, just check they are taking the correct route inside the door.

I have a similar problem with my Alfa Gt. Tested the plug with a test light and one pin lights up when the key button is pressed on one pin but nothing on the other pin. Does this mean that the wiring is bad? I tested the lock and actuator and these are fine.

I am planning to install one of these in my 2016 Outlander ES, but I am afraid the steering wheel buttons will stop working.. Another thing I don't like is that these Atoto units run Android 10 and we are at 14 already.. a couple more Android updates and a lot of apps will become incompatible.

Very informative video for one more time my friend ... I been running my GT 1.8 TS on lpg for years. No issues or problems with the engine at all. Anyone who wanna instal lpg on his car should find a good/trusted mechanic and find a good system. Car will run like charm with no mechanical issues and will enjoy to drive his car with no thinking about the "fuel" cost. The only advice is to have the gasoline tank half filled to keep the gas pump cooled to avoid damage of the pump. Keep the great work

I average about 8l of gasoline consumption with my 1.6ts on the highway at 130kmh
